Maidstone Half, London Parks Half and Oxford Half

As usual, the weather and very muddy wet conditions did not deter Striders runners from competing this weekend, demonstrating in Eliud Kipchoge style that “no one is limited”.
Rebecca Still was the first Strider home in the Maidstone half marathon and winning an amazing 3rd place in the women’s race.
 
The big London race this weekend was a half marathon centered around the London royal parks. First Strider home in a time of 1hr 43.42 was Ashley Claridge (pictured with Strider wife Amanda] A superb run by lady strider Jacqueline Woodhouse first lady strider home finishing in 1.54.09. 
 
Further away from home in the Oxford half marathon saw two striders Jackie Austin 2.17.10 and Talita Wigg 2.25.44.
Back in Kent again at Temple Ewell inaugural 10k in support of the local school’s PTA. The race starts straight up a muddy slippy hill following on through woods and fields before finding the roads was challenging for all participants.
