London Vitality 10k, Harvel 5, Medway 10k

Ollie Pryer led a delegation of dozen Striders at the London Vitality 10k on Bank Holiday Monday, a course that started and ended in Green Park, following a route along the embankment to St Pauls and back. Pryer’s time was an impressive 38mins35secs and he was closely followed by Scott Simpson who crossed the line in 39mins46secs. Samantha Hewitt gained the bragging rights as the first lady Strider home in 51mins43secs.

9 striders took part in the Harvel 5 mile race on Sat 1st June, a multi terrain race taking place in the afternoon and offering beer at the water stations for the hot runners. Chris Lawley was first Strider home in 37mins52secs and Alison Williams was first lady Strider home in 58mins16secs

Finally a trio of runners took part in the Medway 10k on Sun 2nd starting and ending from the track at Medway Park, James Topham was first back in 47mins16secs and Jackie Austin was first last back in 1hr2mins55secs
