Several Striders turned out for this race despite a number of them suffering the effects of colds and related malaises. The temperature despite it being sunny was only just above freezing. Noel put in another good run finishing in 64 minutes and Alan Beckwith was running his first race in Striders colours. In the Men’s Team competition the Striders came 6th out of 19 teams
